Ben & Jerry’s Flavour Election
Flash development / Motion graphics / Video post-production
This is a music video for Amplifier. I worked on this with a few friends back in London: Adriano Gazza, John Angless and Laura Henry. It’s pretty psychedelic so sit back, relax and, in the words of Kuato, open your mind…
For the last two years I’ve taken part in the Annual Awesome Christmas Song Competition, along with my friends George Follen, Adriano Gazza and Roger Gaywood. I was the proud winner of the 2009 contest with “Let’s Play In the Snow (Even If Our Circuits Blow)” and so I had to come up with something good in order to defend my crown. I’m pretty happy with the final results after wrestling for ages with a riff that, in the end, only appears in the instrumental break.
This is my entry for 2010:
Christmas of ’83
Thanos is an evil cosmic tyrant hell-bent on mayhem and destruction. The Super Hero Squad (consisting of Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, Nova and Thor) must stop him using the six Infinity Gems to gain absolute dominion over the Universe!
This is a Flash game I built for Marvel and Disney, hosted on Marvelkids.com and Disney sites. It was tough, but good fun, to build and I’m really glad I had such nice artwork to work with. There’s some really nice tile-work here, courtesy of my colleague at Soap, Hanjin Yoon.
You can play the game here!

I don’t usually post banner work because it’s not really my area of interest or expertise. That said, I recently worked on the animation side of a banner campaign for Activision promoting the release of DJ Hero 2. I’m pretty happy with the animation I produced, hence am sharing it here.

Read on to see the animation in action…
I’ve just completed another project for my friends at Skive. The Vodafone G-Force project simulates the effect of the g-forces experienced by a Formula 1 driver during a race. The idea is to place the user into the driving seat and show how the forces stretch and warp their face in potentially amusing ways.

This is an update to the Seat Ibiza Cherub game. It has some new features: new cars available when the user reaches a certain score, more characters and obstacles… and a minigun(!)

I recently made a showreel video for the Away3D team, showcasing the fantastic work people have produced using their real-time 3D engine. The video was shown as part of Rob Bateman‘s recent presentation at LFPUG.

I’ve just uploaded some playable demos of the various games and sites I’ve worked on. They are all found in the “demo (playable)” category; each post will have a “Play demo” or “View site” link and will launch the site or game in a new window. I’ve also added links to projects that are still live. Projects with screengrab videos are found in the “demo (video)” category. I’ll be adding more playable demos and videos soon….
I recently worked on a Flash game for Seat, via Mediacom, which would be played within a Facebook application. The idea of the game follows Seat’s campaign promoting their Cupra “Cherub”, where a rather mean-looking cherub, floating atop a Cupra, shoots love arrows at any passers-by who happen to look at the car. The object of the game is the same: you control the car, aim the cherub’s arrow-firing cannons and have to shoot as many pedestrians as possible before time runs out.
